Overview
DAY 1: PICK UP, KILIMANJANRO HIKE You shall be met your guide in your hotel in Arusha and then proceed for a transfer to the foothills of Kilimanjaro mountain, the highest free standing mountain in the world, and the highest mountain in Africa. You shall proceed to embark on a hike of the Marangu route, which will take you 6 hours to ascend and descend. After you shall be driven to Moshi town from where you shall have dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation: Hotel to Mandara Hut
DAY 2: DRIVE TO ARUSHA, FLIGHT TO ZANZIBAR. You will have a leisurely breakfast at your lodge and then transfer to Arusha town from where you shall meet the hiking team and proceed to catch a flight to Zanzibar. You will be picked up from the airport and driven to your hotel for check in. Relax at the hotel as you wait for dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation: ZANZIBAR BAHARI VILLAS.
DAY 3: PRISON ISLAND, SPICE TOUR AND STONE TOWN TOUR. You will have breakfast at your hotel and after this you will start your day’s activities. You shall have a stone town tour and explore the alleyways of the town as you get to know about history of Zanzibar and its different cultures. You will take a private boat from stone town to Changuu island or prison island where you will enjoy seeing the giant tortoises and during your tour of the island you will also enjoy snorkeling. You will take a boat back from Changuu island back to stone town. On this day you will also engage in a spice tour as you explore the plantations where you will see different exotic spices and also get to know the uses of the spices like cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg among others. After the spice tour, you will return to your Hotel, relax and spend the night. Accommodation: ZANZIBAR BAHARI VILLAS.
DAY 4: ZANZIBAR BEACH EXPERIENCE You will have a day to relax at the White sands beaches of Zanzibar and enjoy Views of the Indian ocean. Accommodation: ZANZIBAR BAHARI VILLAS.
DAY 5: DEPARTURE. You will have breakfast at your hotel as you prepare for our transfer to the airport which will bring your 5 days Kilimanjaro Hike and Zanzibar Holiday to an end.
