The tour begins after your breakfast with a transfer to the South West of Zanzibar called Fumba, a 40 minute drive from Stone Town. You will experience the best boat excursion in Zanzibar. We will take you by boat to see the dolphins, sandbanks, islands and coral reefs of Menai Bay, a beautiful conservation area. Safari blue is a full day and includes snorkeling equipment with guides and instructors, ice cold sodas and mineral water, a delicious Zanzibari sea food lunch with grilled fish and slipper lobster, fruit tasting and coffee and tea will be served. We round the day off by returning to Fumba by traditional sailboat.

Kizimkazi nestles snuggly on the southern tip of the Island, it offers idyllic costal views and an ideal starting point to spot Bottlenose and Spinner Dolphins these magnificent animals school in the rich hunting grounds of the cove, employing their cunning to feed their growing appetites. Dolphins are normally seen in this cove, but like all wild animals there is never a guarantee that they will appear. A traditional lunch over looking the sea however is a guaranteed, thus a great chance to try the local dishes.

Once the whole Island was covered in a rich tapestry of swamp forest, evergreen thicket and mangrove, now all that remains is the Jozani Forest National Park, the only national park in Zanzibar.
Despite this fact Jozani still boasts an eclectic Bio-diversity, with many strange and wonderful animals residing in and below the canopy of old giants. Red Columbus Monkeys are the most famous inhabitants of the forest; sub-species only found on this island, they can be seen calmly lazing around or fooling amongst themselves in the branches. But keep your eyes open you might be lucky enough to see Sunnis (small dear), the rare Sykes Monkey, Chameleons or even a Leopard!
Tourists will be taken on a guided tour of tropical forests, mahogany plantations and over a boardwalk through the nearby mangrove swamp.

The word ‘Mwangapwani’ means the ‘Arab Coast’, a direct reference to the Slave Trade. Although outlawed by the British in 1845 the trade still flourished for many years afterwards furnishing many entrepreneurs like Nassor Alawi with fantastic profits. It is his chamber that can be seen today, a chamber dug from the soft coral rag as a means to hide his precious commodity from prying English patrol ships. This tour highlights not only the depth of human misery but also the strength of endurance as this poor souls were trapped against the horrendous heat and conditions awaiting their transfer to foreign parts. The larger cave which also used to house slaves is still being used today as a source of flesh water local villagers. Passages run off the main carven and run for many kilometres towards the beach and inland.
